What's Buzz-worthy: The last time I opened one of these boxes, I was shorted two cards. This time? My pack felt a lot heavier but ... I'm not sure why as everything here was standard stock and at least all 15 cards were in there. That's good. What wasn't? Four of them were Carolina Panthers and two were the same guy ... in Prizm. I did land a serial-numbered card here of a decent name and a couple of high-profile rookie QBs but overall this one felt like more toward average with one team making up almost a third of the pack in better spots. Now, had that team run or the duped names been higher-profile? That's the kind of stuff that makes Chronicles a fun rip. A lot of stuff is easily found here -- it's just spread out -- so nothing is really pricey but these boxes aren't that pricey, either. I'm fine with that ... you don't have to break the bank to chase some rookies. ... I dig the typical variety here a lot -- the acetate cards and Optic/Prizm cards here make it a solid mix -- and this is one with the rookie crop that I'll definitely do more of, especially if stuff starts hitting discount bins as more stuff is always on the way.
