What's Buzz-worthy: This isn't a new release but it's a nice bargain pick-up if you're a collector and its bonus pack is one that offers a little bit of chase, too, as you can see it works out at times. (Brady in mine is a win.) What is this? It's a factory set with an exclusive parallel type that Panini made for Fanatics to release the last couple of years. This one has plenty of Rookie Cards -- half of the set -- and this one has plenty of flash as well as texture that looks pretty tight in this one. There were some issues with printing I saw early on (watch the white stripe on the left on the RCs) but my set was clean save for a bad corner on my Trevor Lawerence RC as it was on the bottom of the stack against the plastic spaceholder and then my topper pack's big card was on the top of the pack and against the edges of the other cards ... so it's a little wavy from pressure damage but not full-on damaged. (If I could get it replaced, I might ... but that's taken some time in recent months if at all in my experience so I'll pass.) The gallery below was just a quick pull of the obvious top hobby names and then some of my team guys -- there are more to be found in these. Over time, they will have better break-up value as singles perhaps dry up some but I think the key here is the grading dollars -- I think you could do pretty well with top rookies and stars in better grades here ... even if a lot of others are going there, too. Well, at least after the sets start to dry up a bit -- they can be found at around $80 suggested retail price right now but have dipped lower. Given the rookie crop, I might open a couple more if they dip as I have a lot of rookies to like here and that topper pack offers up a simple but compelling chase with perhaps a one in 67 pack chance at any particular player.

Product Grade: A- (just the basics ... did/does apparently have some printing issues this year but my set was clean)
Box Grade: A (two key cards very slightly damaged ... but still pretty solid for a bargain price -- I got it on sale)
Fun Grade: B (since it's just a set with a topper)
