What's Buzz-worthy: This brand to me (a non-prospector ... just can't collect everything) is a bit of a tough sell as it's a relatively deep checklist and some base cards show up like this Henderson with no team logo. Why? He's from a junior college without a licensing deal and those cards can be tough visuals beyond all the varying uniforms as they just feel incomplete. (Though they do have logos on unis, which is good.) However, it was the other card with that same situation in this pack that made this a winner -- of course, that was a 1/1 auto. I bit on one of these packs for actually less than the cost of a blaster figuring I'd get a trio of basic cards. Why? Well, I hadn't opened this one in any form this year. I was rewarded with ink of a second-round pick of the Angels who isn't having a bad season for the ol' Rocket City Trash Pandas. He's 5-2 with a 3.34 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 67 innings at just 22 years old -- and he also played in the Futures Game. There are no odds here and the base cards are not numbered but there are 220 cards in the set, so that's the max on ink with all signed cards being 1/1s. Mikulski was a second-round pick out of Fordham by the Giants, while Henderson was a fourth-rounder by the Brewers but hasn't played due to injury so I could have done worse here on that front, too. ... This was actually my first time opening a White Sparkle pack of any kind -- it's a strong texture -- but these are for the chasers and are likely among the rarer side for all non-numbered parallels given the way these are released for this product, which had a full retail run as well as hobby packs and FOTL. If you have prospects you're chasing, these aren't a bad one to dabble with -- though I'm not sure how rare ink may be here.

Fun Grade: B+ (small packs can be very hit and miss)
