What's Buzz-worthy: I found this hobby box for basically the price of some blaster boxes these days so I bit with the combo of LeBron James and iconic cartoon characters and maybe a quirky graded card or two in mind afterward ... and, if I were lucky, maybe an autograph, a sketch or a quirky memorabilia card. Not really any of those this time -- I landed a couple of manufactured relics instead along with a lenticular card. Not really what I was looking for but at least I found an array of novelty slab candidates ... though there's a lot of black ink here for those corners and back edges to be problems. (I penny sleeved a lot of these as I found during blaster breaks long ago that the gloss was a bit iffy with contact, too.) This one does have long-odds shot at James ink and autos from others along with quirky stuff (for a partially animated show like basketball and court memorabilia cards. My finds are are pretty standard with the patch card one in 72 packs, though the secondary-market prices don't show much relation to scarcity there in most cases, though it could get pricey to collect a full name. The color parallels might get my grading attention -- or maybe a pair of James cards, one animated and one not.
