What's Buzz-worthy: My second one of these was a little more the norm -- no variation this time -- but my run of veterans here was pretty solid and the lone RC here is a guy who won't leave me alone this year. (Not a bad thing, but also perhaps could have been better ... but I'll take it.) In some early auctions the Hayes pays for the pack and then some but more recent prices gave softened. All in all, not bad. As noted last time, just 12,500 boxes of this one were made and they sold out within minutes over on Topps' site. It's posted as a 100-card set but the card numbers here were as high as 644 in this pack, so it must be a skip-numbered release. Crunching the numbers for the base cards, inserts and packs, there should be roughly 743 copies per base card in this one, so I'd grab the players you want while they appear to be plentiful from this release. They should dry up quickly. Obviously key RCs and top stars will be the main draw over time but I wouldn't be surprised if common players also become tough to find as people may not think to put them up for sale later, not realizing how little of this one was actually made.

Box Grade: A- (decent run of stars and a name rookie)
Fun Grade: B (small pack can be hit and miss)
