What's Buzz-worthy: I grabbed a pair of these thinking they had bonus card packs in them -- not this time -- but that was OK when this one over-delivered very well with an autograph -- one in 13 boxes -- and the Purple parallel that's one in 31 boxes. Will either pay for the $25 box? Probably not, but had I landed big names in either spot this box could have been huge. It still gets an A+ grade from me as getting one of those would be a good find in a single box, let alone two. My run of base cards and RCs wasn't amazing here but these did seem to deliver inserts in every pack and in some cases along with the hit there were packs with two. That kind of consistency might deliver some really good results here, though blasters are jam-packed with color and variety of parallels as well. These hangers have over-delivered for me in the past and both of mine for this one did as well, though this one was the better of the two. (I opened it first ... so it's here first. Look for the other one in the coming days or next week.) I generally like the feel of this design in Chrome and in color or with Refractors but it's not one that has aged well with me ... I don't like going though the base stuff here ... but there are enough notable RCs who are cheap now and worth considering to stockpile to some degree. (Production volume may be up, so parallels are your safest bets.) Topps Chrome is a brand that seems to have picked up a lot more steam in recent years so this one with all its RC logos and rookies autos is one to consider ripping or sitting on. Fun Grade: B+ (I had two of these boxes over-deliver so that made them a little more fun)
