What's Buzz-worthy: This bargain-lot box isn't really one in my wheelhouse -- I wouldn't even qualify as a soccer newb -- but the Gold card here is one that likely pays for the box at the discounted price and maybe more, while other parallels here were nice and a couple of names in the overall mix have had flashes of some demand since I last opened some stuff here. ... As I noted previously, this one is clean and is a huge base set -- 200 cards -- so it will take a few boxes to build one if you can avoid duplicates. It does seem a lot more complete than some other MLS sets from the past, so that likely helps the appeal to those who are regulars. With newer boxes sometimes more premium-priced, stepping back a few years for stuff like this -- when it's so cheap -- can make for some low-risk ripping.
