What's Buzz-worthy: Holy Rookie Cards -- 13 cards for 23 players -- that's my kinda hitless blaster box. I'll admit that this one didn't wow me on first-blaster impressions last time, but I liked the feel here a lot more, though blasters are still super-lean on inserts/SPs this year. ... So I probably won't be ripping a boatload, especially with the 1970s not being one of my favorite decades, but I do have a hobby box incoming so we'll see how that one feels with a big-box rip. ... As I noted before, we're headed back to 1972 with this one, which is loaded with star power in the base set, is lean on the star power in the SPs (a good thing to me, perhaps not to sellers) and then full of quirks and chase if you buy in bulk. Errors and variations that are found in hobby are here, too, but the odds on pretty much everything are pretty long in this one (variations are one in thousands of packs here save for the French backs) making for some dry boxes though there have been reports of some over-heated blaster boxes delivering ink well out there. ... I'll definitely rip more -- and hobby boxes were good to me last year, so I'll dabble there, too, but will I rip boatloads of Heritage as I have in the recent past? Well, it depends on how much is left for the kids.
