What's Buzz-worthy: My final box here -- I landed them cheap -- didn't wow again on the ink, but there were some top names for the SPs and in the box-topper pack while some other notables once again popped up between other inserts and then in the base set. It basically isn't a big box both the names in the SPs and topper pack get it to a weak A- here that can but topped but I still put it there given a cheap price. Had I paid more? Likely a B box. The Griffey card here was a fun find while I once again landed a Green parallel that wasn't all that big of a deal ... but everything here can dry up faster than you might think helping values on even basic stuff over a year or two while prospects arrive at higher levels. ... The Green parallel isn't that big of a deal but they are one in 52 packs (three boxes) and color drops one per box from what I have seen. ... As I noted last time, sure, there are some photo limitations -- MiLB didn't play last year -- but that actually helps add to some oldschool charm here as the 1972 Topps design is re-created for players down on the farm. The team names are a little awkward here -- so it's not a 100-percent identical take -- but I think it works pretty well. MiLB isn't as popular -- that's one reason its production volume has to be lower here vs. other baseball releases -- but it's one that has a lot of good names to be found and then will dry up faster than the regular Heritage.
