What's Buzz-worthy: 'Tis the season so, yeah, I revisited this one on a low price ... and, well, other than a slightly rarer SP (one in 20 packs) and an over-delivering on the standard ones (one in seven) this was pretty rough ... by this brand's standards perhaps as rough as it gets ... but those extras kept it from dipping to average on an overall grade for me. Still wasn't that fun of a rip. ... I've ripped tons of these since their arrival as a Walmart-exclusive release back in 2016 with snowflakes as the main addition to a crop of All-Stars and rookies with some parallels and a guaranteed hit all in play. The design is a little more obnoxious this year -- I like that -- but the formula is ultimately the same but with a checklist that's super-saturated with RCs. One cool thing in this one? Some of the notable veterans who changed teams (see gallery) are in their new unis here and not necessarily elsewhere, which helps give this one a little extra feel to it. Ripping in bulk is perhaps your best way to land some of the rarer stuff -- there are some autos and other rare finds here as well as much-rarer variations where if you land a key name you could end up ahead for sure.
