What's Buzz-worthy: With the young baseball season here, I figured I'd dabble with a few small-format boxes for recent releases and the flagship is one I hadn't opened in this format, despite some success stories of decent finds. My experience? About the same as other formats for this one ... it's pretty dry with the 1952 inserts, a retail-only inclusion, a bit of a savior. The Blue parallels are Walmart-only cards that offer some potential but I don't feel like either of mine in this box packed much oomph value-wise. You can see odds in the gallery and there are hits possible here but at longer odds. For this release, I'd probably go jumbo boxes for the guaranteed volume on inserts and the guaranteed hits.
Product Grade: A
Box Grade: B- (pretty close to average this time)
Fun Grade: B- (not that flashy)
