What's Buzz-worthy: The annual retail tins ($15) for flagship were a recent arrival and this one presented itself and I ripped with pretty average results here save for perhaps the Trout card. Why pop these? They are the exclusive home for 70 Years of Topps Chrome cards -- the Molina in the gallery -- and they give you five more 1952 inserts and a Chrome from that one, which are a star of retail packs in general this year if you ask me ... at least when they are well-centered. (These were off but closer than some I have pulled.) The stars and Rookie Cards here were pretty flat considering the many possibilities and my inserts were pretty rough beyond the Trout and maybe a couple of others value-wise. I wouldn't pay a premium for this format but if you can't find any other versions out there it's kind of a no-brainer with the base-card volume ... if that's your thing. My collecting tastes are leaning away from purely base so I need variety and some flash ... you get that here to a degree.
Product Grade: A
Tin Grade: B- (Trout gets it to that point -- very average pack otherwise to me)
Fun Grade: B-
