What's Buzz-worthy: My second one of these was in part due to who was on the tin ... and it wasn't that flashy inside.  The annual retail tins ($15) for flagship were a recent arrival and still may be lingering in the card aisle so they might be worth a look if you've been striking out. Why pop these? They are the exclusive home for 70 Years of Topps Chrome cards -- the Smith in the gallery -- and they give you five more 1952 inserts and a Chrome from that one, which are a star of retail packs in general this year if you ask me ... at least when they are well-centered. (These were not.) If you like those sets, these are an easy way to load up on the cheaper side -- plus the meaty pack can also include pretty much everything -- SPs, for example, are one in 15 tins. I wouldn't pay a premium for this format but if you can't find any other versions out there it's kind of a no-brainer with the base-card volume. This format also certainly packs a little more punch than others in this brand ... single-pack (small pack) rips can be pretty dull, but across the board there's a lot to be found here. I'd probably do hobby jumbo first with the better volume that gives a better chance at key RCs and their parallels here -- those can be cash -- along with guaranteed hits.
