What's Buzz-worthy: This one arriving a week early -- it's set to drop officially this Friday for hobby boxes -- was a fun find and even better was five more insert cards in this one vs. my last Series 1 blaster. Something different to watch for I noted above -- the bonus manufactured Relics are put into the standard packs this time instead of being a separately wrapped bonus pack. (They are obvious at a glance.) This box? It over-delivered with a Red parallel that's one in 135 packs (one in 20 boxes) and some others over-delivering that should appear in every other box but all lined up here. Was it a flashy box? Probably not as the crop of base cards was not great and the RCs ran lean and were dry save for the Hayes -- he's following me in MLB breaks this year. The Redux cards are 1965s this time and still a one-per-pack retail-only highlight with much better centering this time vs. Series 1 and its 1952s. The insert lineup was pretty strong save for the parallels maybe. My DH Debuts card was flipped over in the pack making me think it might be a Blue parallel (one in 990 packs) but it wasn't numbered so I think it's just a standard one. (I think it would be numbered if that rare and the only one on eBay early is a numbered card.) All in all, this Saturday surprise paid off pretty well with a strong box in terms of its inclusions and that could bode well for the formats that are intentionally loaded up with much more cardboard than this format when hobby arrives. I'd do jumbo boxes for the best rip with guaranteed ink and more inside. Once I see more of what's popping out of these boxes I'll decide how much more I might need from this release that has some good potential finds inside.
