What's Buzz-worthy: This box was an oddity with 25 extra cards overall and nine packs from anywhere from nine to 14 cards inside -- they are only supposed to have eight. Meanwhile, with the mis-pack I still only had one duplicate card (a Honus Wagner). Inserts-wise, I don't think I got anything extra and really it was all pretty standard stuff except for a Photographer's Proof that's one per two cases here (one in 513 packs). That tough pull and a couple of notables here and there among the inserts and then a John Kruk auto (not a money guy but a name who might outsell some rookies) get this one an A- from me for the box. Overall, this one can deliver well with some luck or ripping in volume and it's one of the better collector-minded releases of the year every year since it's return. Is it a good flipper brand? I wouldn't as there should be a pretty good volume of boxes made at retail here and the hobby boxes have a lot of rookie autos ... so the scorchers aren't going to happen all the time to warrant big prices on boxes. This one is simply solid and simply fun with some nice higher-end touches like the super-glossy stock and, of course, a lot of good photos. This was a box that can be topped and should be ... even if it had extra cards in most packs.

Fun Grade: B+ (not a boatload more variety than a blaster ... seems like it needs something more)
