What's Buzz-worthy: This one is quite simple -- looks at all past series from the Star Wars universe in the base set that are then paralleled and then a small lineup of inserts with autos (perhaps the biggest draw this time) and then other hits. This box isn't the norm with a 1/1 sketch card (one in three boxes) and the medallion (one in two) which was the only card in its obviously thicker and heavy pack. The color flowed relatively well for a small box but all within normal expectations save for the Green Weilders insert that's actually rarer than everything here at one in 87 packs. The concept art sets are a little odd in how they are labeled -- one says that somewhat boldly on the front, one not as much -- but the simplicity of the lineup has its charms here. (And I think non-sports collectors are probably used to the approach.) The medallion card is funky in that the inlay is floating in the card and can move around (that might lead to cards wearing out or having damage over time) but that does let you see both sides. The base set is all-horizontal (I'm OK with that to a degree) but there doesn't seem to be a ton of visual variety here, making the chartacter-focused ones stand out more than others but that's nit-picky (and also probably something non-sports collectors are used to). Complicating that is something that is a good thing (that can have its drawbacks) is the set size -- 200 cards is huge for a Chrome set. All in all, I like the approach here but the lineup seems a little lean other than ink, which can include Samuel L. Jackson, Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor, Peter Mayhew, Rosario Dawson, Harrison Ford, Kenny Baker, Daisy Ridley, Harrison Ford and even Carrie Fisher among many others. I didn't land ink this time but there are a number of them that make this one worth the look.
