What's Buzz-worthy: This one didn't quite make the cut for Friday's eight-hour #BuzzMania breaks marathon but it wasn't because there weren't fireworks or some botchamania moments that made this one stand out. The hit this time? A manufactured Relic and that was the only card in its pack (planned) so that was different and answers the question of whether they are in here. (I hadn't seen any ... but also admittedly hadn't looked.) The botch part comes fro three cards that were literally ripped from packaging while several others had pretty dramatic surface denting from whatever royal rumble happened on the assembly line before these got in. None of the better names I'd be looking for got into the fracas so the grade here wasn't affected too much. Typically a botch like this or missing hits would get a box a below-average grade. Why not this time? My hit is a parallel found one in 99 packs, while my inserts had some names I like and I actually noticed the silver parallels here ... unlike my past breaks. (See the Miz and Morrison cards side by side ... I only spotted that one since I landed both. Sometimes the stripes on the sides show but I clearly missed them and I bet others have, too. For the standard blaster price ($19.99) this was an OK break and since it's one of a few blasters still at that price they'll get easy looks from me vs. other stuff out in the retail wild. All in all, this one seems cleaner than some other WWE releases lately for its stock and printing/cutting (especially vs. the women's set) so seeing the botched cards here was a bit of a surprise.
