What's Buzz-worthy: My third and for now final (but not in a bad way ... keep reading) box of this one delivered arguably the best card of my three with this being the only type of card to be found for this WWE Hall of Famer in this release. It's one of six cards with a known print run of only 250 serial-numbered cards and the standard version (un-numbered) in this release. The odds on this card? One in 53 boxes. ... As I noted previously, when this autograph-per-box line made its debut in 2020 I immediately pre-ordered a case. This time around, I played the wait-and-see game for the checklist and I think it's on par and in some ways better than the first. However, we don't get a third release as Topps' time in the ring is, for now, over. Why do I say this is my last one of these for now? Singles prices are pretty soft on a lot of cards out there -- likely due to so much WWE stuff dropping in recent weeks -- and the buyers are just playing a wait-and-see game on what's getting ripped with two more releases likely still to come. Even a find like this one may not even pay for the box right now ... but over time this will be one of the better pulls here -- he has signed regularly through the years but never in any high volumes and that will help, too. All in all, this one is a win ... and this is the kind of guaranteed hit-per-box release that I'll likely be ripping more of in the future if options are limited to three-figure boxes with only a few hits. These can be anti-climactic if you land a young star (see my previous break for that as well as more thoughts) but when you land a better name you will know it.
