What's Buzz-worthy: I haven't previously ripped into a box of this format for this one -- I've done larger boxes that gaurantee more -- but this release is one that is a clean and interesting gaming set in its look and inclusions but with some issues -- at least with this Topps India version -- when it comes to the materials and the printing. (The cards are identical to the UK version but the materials and packaging here are a lot sloppier with more condition issues in the end result ... only really an issue if you like to grade cards -- and I would like to grade some stuff here.) If you don't know, Slam Attax cards are a vibrant and affordable rip if you're just looking for names to add to your collection, early cards of new stars or a flashy rip on the cheap. They were primarily made for the UK and European market (not sold in the U.S.) and then the Topps India crew re-issues the UK version of the set with everything but the hits. This is one of a few packages made for that market that you can find out there without breaking the bank. It's not a perfect release -- a lot of stock and cutting issues -- but the basics are nice. I do like this one but the Chrome version -- one that has a lot better print quality, rare Refractors and autographs -- is even better. That one can be found here. That link is absolutely the way to go with this one with big stuff very possible.
