What's Buzz-worthy: I'm probably semi-retired when it comes to heavy NBA ripping -- now just open a few things a year a few times apiece thanks to hobby costs contrasting with the typical inclusions at retail -- but I reluctantly threw this one in the cart as I was somewhat familiar with it thanks to a lot of past Chronicles rips. This one? I'm not sure the non-traditional color scheme works for me card after card in every pack. Part of that might be from this box being relatively flat -- plus my one RC had a surface crimp and one of the inserts was peeling apart on one end (I popped up the loose part as you can see at right). Those things along with the funky mix definitely mean this one is likely my last one unless something strikes me when this one hits the bargain bin. (Even then probably less than a 50-percent chance.) This format is the home of some rare inclusions and Mojo Prizm parallels but I landed none of that this time. Among the other finds are Red Mojo, Blue Mojo and Gold Mojo cards that are numbered. A few autograph sets are also in play here with parallels that are rarer finds, too, with veterans as well as rookies on the ink. All in all, I like that this one takes a non-traditional approach -- it needs to happen more -- but this one doesn't work that well for me but I see things here where

Box Grade: C+ (only saved by Durant parallel ... plus one insert had peeling layers which made me wonder about other stuff here aging poorly)
Fun Grade: C- (far too repetitive and color scheme wore on me while ripping ... even with a small box)
