What's Buzz-worthy: These small boxes are typically loaded with variety among the SPs between the horizontal and Star Futures subsets but this pair of boxes both delivered on the newcomers' side and that makes it pretty strong, despite not having as varied of a mix. I'll take that as the younger AEW names here are the ones with more potential on cards going forward. How many names here are already elsewhere? A few -- and there are just as many with first-year, in-pack cards here, too. Those make this a solid pairing. ... As noted in the past, I like the color, flash, variety and mix of what you land here -- half inserts, half base -- and I like the lineup of names with a good mix of established veterans and newcomers on Rookie Cards. But the hits? They don't even happen in every hobby box, let alone here ... and in some cases the rarer pull might be something that could easily be confused with other parallels and is only statistically rare based on being a parallel from a subset. Value? I'm not that worried here -- I just like this one and I'm a ripper/collector -- but thanks to ePack you can find pretty much everything on the cheap on COMC ... unless it's rarer or an auto. I found these at a solid slasher price (half off) so this is more of just a quickie rip for a collector and it still has potential. I also like the grading potential with young names here as these are very cleanly crafted compared to a lot of chrome-stock cards in recent years.
