What's Buzz-worthy: Bowman is back for another year and it dropped at retail in advance of its hobby release next week. The design and printing here seemed crisper and cleaner than some past years with stock that feels a little more sturdy, too. The design isn't as rigid with borders that are more like framing with nice smaller touches on both the fronts and backs. The inclusions here were basically identical to what blasters had last year with this box including a Lava that drops once, maybe twice, per case. The prospecting crop has its names here -- though I'm not a devotee on that front -- with rainbows for all of them that can spark some cashflow now or reward later. Retail is the home of exclusive Green parallels (none for me this time) while these boxes can include a number of possible finds at longer odds, including Superfractors -- check the odds. I only grabbed one at this time ($32 a box at retail was still too steep for me as a dabbler and not a prospector) but I suspect I will do more at a later time once I see how others react to this one and see who emerges as one to chase. Aesthetically, I like it and I landed a number of key names I'd like to see. It was not a perfect first impression (see the bottom left corners on the base cards if you're a grader) but it was a pretty strong one.
