What's Buzz-worthy: I picked up a pair of these oddball packs on the relative cheap ($5 each) since I had seen them but didn't bother back at arrival ... and the first pack turned out to be a banger. The second? Rather rough for collectable names but as it turns out both packs included a "Rare" stamp that's seeded one in 12 packs ... so this pairing was better than it should have been on paper. What are these? Basically vinyl-ish stickers on a light backer in pack form. I actually like the concept -- it's a bit oldschool but also simple enough got work in a modern world without breaking the bank. (I'm simply dabbling more with stuff like this and waiting things out some for the high-volume, high-price new card releases when it comes to ripping some packs ... even in the retail wild. That's me ... I'm not ripping to flip, especially for NFL. Just dabbling.) As you can see on the checklist sheets in the gallery, there are some chase stickers here -- 16 in all -- with some as rare as one in 96 packs for the biggest names and then others that are one in 24 and one in 48 along with some one-in-12s that I landed. What's risky here is the cards with just three logos or lesser stars. Big names will always have some appeal but my second pack was a bit of a doozy compared to the first, which was strong. I'd probably still open some more if they presented themselves on the cheap again ... and even more if I happened upon them lower. Why? A lot of names to collect here -- and even some oddball stuff like mascots. A team collector or oddball collector could find a lot to like here -- and those rarer ones might surprise over time, too, for the best names. Those guys will always be in demand to some degree.
