What's Buzz-worthy: This one is a straggler pack from one of those mega-sized retail repacks that include a few of these packs and then some other stuff ... and like pizza even when it's not the best, well, Chronicles it's still not bad Chronicles. This one included only one parallel -- but a top name -- and then some notable rookies, including a pair of appearances from the No. 1 overall draft pick, a pair for the No. 2 pick and more. While it's a small pack, that gives you an idea of what can be possible here and that's why I like it. A lot of stuff is easily found in this release -- it's just spread out -- and it's been ripped heavily so it's mostly easily found. I'm fine with that ... you don't have to break the bank to chase some rookies. The biggest thing about this one in these packs from what I have seen is that they can be a tad erratic in what they deliver -- sometimes more, sometimes less for the brands that you find. (It could be my smaller sample size, though.) I'm definitely not against ripping more of this one for football (NFL or draft) or WWE and even UFC, while baseball might be on my radar, too. Why? Chronicles is a collector brand and that's me.
