What's Buzz-worthy: I purposely waited a bit to grab one of these as, well, this one seems pretty basic -- or right there in line with past editions that I did plenty of -- and I really don't need much here than maybe some Rookie Cards of guys with Alabama Crimson Tide ties. But that's just me -- I can't collect it all. This one is fun and has a little less sticker shock out in the retail wild if you find it ($29.99 .... which is what I paid for a simpler hanger pack last year) but I still don't really think this one delivered well enough for that pricey though I did find a few notables. Why? Surface damage and dents -- one parallel with glue all the way down the front of the card -- and some damage on better names. Overall, the feel here seemed cleaner and higher than stock of some past years for Mosaic or Prizm but still not perfect. The volume here isn't bad for a chrome-stock release but that base set is bigger like Prizm (though not as big as Prizm) so that can water down your star power. The array of parallels here is somewhat limited -- what I found and a few more -- and then a few more across the board. There are a few inserts here, though three in a blaster seems lean, and then numbered Orange Fluorescent versions (/25) and then some retail-only ink and some rarer inserts. Do I think big stuff is in there? Sure. How tough to land? Not sure. All in all, I think this one is right there on par with previous so if you're in on those you're likely in on this. Hobby boxes may be the safest way to go here if you're chasing big hits or rarer parallels of key names but for basics they'll be in here in this one. This one had flash but perhaps not any bigger flashy finds to get it to an A-level grade in my mind.
