What's Buzz-worthy: With the NFL season over, I figured I'd revisit some recent releases in smaller ways and this jumbo pack shows some glimpses of what's possible with this one -- a meaty base presence but also a third of the pack is inserts or Rookie Cards, which can do well if the right names pop up in those spots. This time? Pair of Ja'Marr Chase inserts, a Dan Marino and a Peyton Manning ... so good but not great. (I got two of these at a slightly discounted price in a Panini Kid's Crate ... so that helps. Not sold on the prices for a lot of packs like this at retail.) ... I like the design this year and the photo framing on the card backs -- and the backs in general here -- might be the ideal in my collecting mind save for a couple of basics here and there while the fronts do a good job of showcasing photos. The stock here has been a chippy, soft frustration in past years but this year's feels a little different and cleaner, which means there will be more grading-worthy finds here than perhaps recent years. It's not perfect or super-glossy but it's definitely better and has modest use of foil-stamping. Just like I said last time, I liked this one but I think right now -- at least until some rookies emerge as "name" guys on cards -- the late-arriving 2021 boxes are probably better buys.

Pack Grade: B- (closer to average here but Chase cards saved it from a C in my mind ... though they aren't pricey)
Fun Grade: B- (good insert volume helps this format)
