From time to time, Buzz will break a box of something and post the results here. Like this and want to see more? Or maybe there's a box you'd want to see busted? Send Buzz an email at BlowoutBuzz@blowoutcards.com.
The pack: 2022 Panini Prestige NFL cards (jumbo)
Where to buy: BlowoutCards.com (in a few formats)
Keep reading for a full breakdown of what was in this one along with a gallery of images.
Cards per pack: 30
Base set completion:
20 of 200 (10 percent)
Duplicates: 0
Notables on base cards: Cooper Kupp, Aaron Jones, Kirk Cousins ... brutal pack on this front
Inserts/short-prints: 10 (all in gallery below along with some base)
Rookie Cards (4) – Chris Olave, Travon Walker, Channing Tindall, Kyle Hamilton
Xtra Points Starburst (2) – Vita Vea, Tyson Campbell
Any Given Sunday (1) – Phil Simms
Highlight Reel (1) – D.K. Metcalf
Prestigious Pros (1) – Matthew Stafford
Youth Movement (1) – Najee Harris
Autographs/Memorabilia: None
What's Buzz-worthy: Small breaks of single packs can yield some misses ... and this is, essentially, one of those times. Beyond a couple names in the inserts and then one key rookie this one was a dud but I'll keep it in C range thanks to one name I like to see and that first rookie. The rest are deep in a cardboard bulk box where they'll sit until they're gone ... just not a strong pack this time. As I've said before, this brand is very clean and crisp for a low-end, early season release and that's one reason I like it along with school colors but pro teams. That's not ideal to many but I like it ... has a slightly oldschool feel (as in the recent past). For more thoughts, check out my other breaks of this one. I have one more of these packs in reserve and then I'll likely turn my attention to come newer retail releases that are easily found right now.
Product Grade: A-
Pack Grade: C (saved by a couple names among rookies and inserts)
Fun Grade: C (not much at all going on in this one from start to finish)
