What's Buzz-worthy: Just like the WWE version I opened this weekend, the UFC Prizm blasters are the home to Silver and Green parallels and then Green Pulsar (/25) cards along with ink -- but not much else beyond that. It makes for a little dryer rip but at least there's an insert of some type in every pack. Silvers are only in play for base cards here while both Greens are on everything including the various autograph sets found here. This box didn't include a ton of name I know -- I'm not a big UFC guy -- but there was some star power among the inserts and five RCs from a meaty 200-card base set. All in all, like the WWE release, blasters aren't all that flashy for Prizm so your best bet is to buy a few at once or rip into hobby boxes for guaranteed stuff while those last. I'm not sure this year's UFC will be as big as the debut last year -- part of that I think is this year's border is heavy -- but that's less obvious with better (tighter) photo crops on the horizontal cards here vs. the WWE release. I also think there's still going to be a good amount of mainstream, dabbler not-everyday-collector interest as the brand is one that many watch and see dollar-based success stories when they land something big. All in all, if you can find it and don't mind the price (retail is around $35 for these small boxes while hobby is pricier) then I say dig in.

Box Grade: A- (liked the Liddell appearance along with the Green insert parallel but am sure it can be topped)
Fun Grade: B (not a lot going on in this format at all)
