What's Buzz-worthy: My second box of this was the norm in terms of what's found -- no extra Green this time -- and it was overall pretty good, though not as flashy as one might expect. This format? It's just not that dynamic -- it's a basic mix with Silvers and Greens. ... This one is a landmark release in that it's the debut of Rookie Cards for almost all of the NXT 2.0 stars (a small number snuck into a couple sets last year) and a number of NXT UK performers who didn't have cards, either. Becuase of this the RC volume is abnormally high as they are all in the base set. Previous releases used "First NXT card" labels and then RC logos once stars arrived on Raw or Smackdown or had those NXT debuts in insert sets. This first Panini WWE release does seem to have a lot of issues with left-right centering and then I have also seen what feels like a large number of rough plastic cuts or other issues (see above right) -- but that's just me and since I like to grade stuff. (Maybe it's you, too, I don't know.) These carry a higher suggested retail price at retail than Prizm stuff of a few years ago (like all Prizm/Optic now) so that eats into things, too, if you're looking to flip and don't land something more notable. This one has a deep 200-card checklist that's loaded with past, present and future stars. Other formats are definitely stronger but they will cost you more the demand (hype) that comes with heavy Prizm buyers.

Product Grade: A- (a lot of off-centered cards and rough cuts for my taste in this landmark release -- holds it back from top marks)
Box Grade: A- (good names in all spots but nothing too out of ordinary)
Fun Grade: B (not a lot going on in this format at all)
