What's Buzz-worthy: I found this one buried in the back of a stack of baseball blasters on the bottom shelf in the retail wild -- the only one -- and decided to bite since it's got a guaranteed hit to justify its slightly higher price ... and between that and a couple of inserts here I didn't do too shabby. The base set is oddly simple and a definite throwback -- kind of like Capstone baseball but with a little more color and more of a feel that fits right in in the Pacific/Score/Pinnacle realm of past NFL cards. The foil-etched inserts here are nice -- and Brady there is even nicer -- and the Tua hit worked for me though it's not noted as game-used. The basic stuff here is not holofoil like the hobby basics -- the opposite of Capstone -- and you get a lot more here vs. hobby boxes that are two hits, two holofoil base and then two inserts. (That's it.) This one can include autos and other inclusions and an array of stuff and that might make these deliver a little better than one might think and there's a decent shot some could out-deliver a hobby box given market prices on that side. The rarer Aloha cards are also found here, too. All in all, this one surprised me more than I had expected and it might prompt me to try more if I spot it again in the wild.
