What's Buzz-worthy: My latest pack from one of those odd mega boxes of this one that included a few packs of this, a pack of another and then three random NFL cards -- oddly those were just commons thrown in a sleeve -- was pretty similar to my last but with one fewer inserts but perhaps a little more star power. Maybe. At worst, I got a few guys for my team and a couple better finds among the non-base with the Hurts card a flashier kind of card, too. ... As I've said before, the base cards are relatively unique but that design didn't grow on me with this rip -- but if you like or don't mind it and want to build the set on the cheap this format is arguably the way to go. Meanwhile, blasters are the home of a hit every time here, so if you want hits on the cheap then rip that. If you want a little more to chase and don't care about the price, rip hobby. ... The foil-etched inserts here are nice, while the basic stuff here is not holofoil like the hobby basic cards are -- the opposite of Capstone baseball, which also included a hit per blaster at retail. ... This one can include autos and other inclusions and an array of things that might make these deliver a little better than one might think and that earlier impression is why I opted to open some of this one ... look for more breaks here in the coming weeks -- more small breaks for me as it's football season.

Fun Grade: B (not a ton of variety in these so it just comes down to key names in key spots)
