What's Buzz-worthy: I picked up a few of these packs back for the debut edition in the retail wild a couple years ago and finally decided it was time to check out this one as they're just $10 -- and in a lot of ways that's got a lot more potential vs. a lot of stuff in the retail aisle right now. There are potentially autographs here for names who don't have much cardboard, a decent volume of inserts (some like the one I found) with low print runs and then some household names with USA Soccer experience. (I landed some there, too.) Among the teased signers are Crystal Dunn, Mallory Pugh, Ashley Hatch, Mikayla Cluff, Vanessa Gilles and Diana Ordoñez for starters and even some insert cards of popular names here might sell better than one might think since there are not a ton of women's soccer sets where players can have a boatload of cards. This one is perhaps a little cleaner than the debut but the way they are cut the corners do seem perhaps slightly rounded/blunted on purpose (or, less likely but still possible, my pack took some hits) and that was even more pronounced on the parallels ... so I don't know how all this might grade out. The overall feel here, though, is pretty crisp and clean and that's a good reason to rip in here even if you're not a soccer fan. I don't do much soccer, but I wouldn't hesitate to rip into more here if they present themselves and if the timing is right. There are also hobby boxes with guaranteed ink, too, if you do some hunting ... but I suspect a lot of those got ripped by collectors -- these samplers of sorts will be more easily found.
