What's Buzz-worthy: This series sold 8,162 packs and I feel like most of them had to have been better than this one, though I did find a one-in-three-pack Sweet Caporal card of a popular player for a team or two. The rest? Well, I like Kris Bryant and seeing him in a new uni was nice but pretty much everything else here was the good-on-field-but-not-hobby-hot variety. Names I could have landed here include Juan Soto, Derek Jeter, Shohei Ohtani, Albert Pujols, Willie McCovey, Matt Olson, Mark McGwire, Larry Walker, Bob Gibson, Jackie Robinson, Ichiro Suzuki, Tony Perez, Whitey Ford, Satchel Paige and others ... and not one Rookie Card, either. This one was just peculiar, though I normally would buy two packs to perhaps take away some of the sting of a miss. This one is a miss ... and I did several packs of the first Star Wars wave instead. Look for that up next.

Box Grade: C- (saved perhaps only by the Sweet Caporal parallel)
