What's Buzz-worthy: I picked off this one at about 70 percent of the price of a hobby box with one name trivially in mind -- Cal Raleigh, aka Big Dumper. His Rookie Card here is a solid photo on a clean 1973 Topps re-do and while I do have one somewhere deep, deep in a mountain of commons boxes from back then I wanted to chase one more. It worked this time. Thanks to there being a Relic, this box was essentially the same as a hobby box save for one guaranteed variant (typically action photo) that typically is found in hobby every time. ... As I noted before, this one is not flashy but I didn't hate it at all vs. the original. That said, the printing seems a little retro as there are cards with some brighter white on fronts than others and the backs are admittedly chippy and have dark spots here and there as black and yellow aren't the most-friendly colors on oldschool stock. ... There's a lot to like and chase here (see checklist with all of the variations noted above) but you'll need some luck to find many of them in even hobby boxes. Raleigh does have a Chrome card as well as autographs in this one ... so that's a reason to look here.
