What's Buzz-worthy: Just like I opened my thoughts on this one last year -- one box, one card ... high-risk, high-reward. This time? A rarer parallel (one in 32 boxes) with ink from a Hall of Famer with a color that matches team colors people probably know him from ... really a simple card -- perhaps too simple -- with the only hang-up here being his edge-riding signing spot and some off and on ink flow. Otherwise? Still an A+ box. Last year, I got a similar base card of David Wright but this Mets legend is a little more higher-profile to make a high-profile box more palatable. ... Hit that preview link for a preview of the possibilities of what could be found here -- there's plenty that should make one consider a box if the price is right -- with multi-player auto books some of the most-outrageous draws. Everything in these boxes is relatively rare, so I'm not sure how much more of a premium might happen for a low-volume card like this vs. others -- but it still feels like a win. Over time -- not during the current eBay flood -- prices on rare finds here could really pick up steam if only a few people are late looking.

Product Grade: B+ (high-end but seems this can still be hit and miss names-wise with a design that perhaps feels too simple)
Box Grade: A+ (Hall of Famer on rare parallel ink ... but it can be topped)
