What's Buzz-worthy: When I popped the lid here I had to do a double take and then check the side panel to make sure it was right -- four seven-card packs here and that's it -- but after that initial reaction and then seeing all of the warped cards here (they'll flatten out over time) things got better. How much better? I beat the one-in-54 odds on ink -- one in 14 boxes or two, maybe three, per case -- and then got some solid names across the board ... a box that would be liked by a Mets fan for sure. The couple of cameo cards here are nice and the rest was cleaner than some of the recent Topps chrome-stock stuff lately in this wave of late 2022 releases that are finally arriving. All in all, for $25, this one delivered well and Elder is a name with decent potential here, too, so this blaster might have out-hit some hobby boxes out there, too. I have one more of these but since it's Friday I'll hold off on more thoughts when I rip that one ... I liked this one more than I had expected.
