What's Buzz-worthy: I was actually contemplating passing on this one this year despite the obvious big-name chase in the NBA, but I semi-reluctantly grabbed my max-three from a big-box chain and after I opened my first box -- a box as bone-dry as possible with just one Rookie Card -- this one presented itself ... and that's why you play the game. These boxes are small so the RCs -- face it, they're why we're ripping -- can be hit and miss and I had one box with one RC and then my third box had several ... this one was right in between with the biggest rookie of the bunch on a big color, though not the numbered one, in this edition. It's easily an A+ box that can still be topped -- it's Prizm -- but this dabbler will take it. In fact, that big pull immediately made it into an already-prepped grading order and is already on its way ... that's how big this box was. Among the parallels here are the three you see here along with Glitter, Red Seismic, Blue Seismic and Green Pulsar -- the last three on the numbered side -- for all 300 base cards. Do the quick math and landing Wembanyama here is at least one in 150 blasters (or more depending on how other parallels drop and if they might replace Greens) ... I'll take it. I apparently skipped ripping last year's Prizm NBA altogether -- probably a combination of arrival time, shelf-clearers and bots that I just don't fight with much any more -- but this return for me was worth it after I uttered some cuss words or two about my first box. That'll teach me. This one is probably my best NBA box I'll bust all year (I don't open boatloads) ... but we'll see. You never know what's possible if you rip -- and this one shows that.

Box Grade: A+ (Wembanyama Green is one of the better finds in this format, though not biggest)
Fun Grade: A (small boxes can be very hit and miss ... this is a big one)
