What’s Buzz-worthy: This break is part of one of those Chronicles retail repacks -- and also one part Friday afternoon filler before a holiday weekend -- but just two packs here delivered a third of what an entire blaster did when it comes to rookies and inserts ... and that ultimately landed it here as a Buzz Break. I gave them a B in the grade down below -- that may be nice -- but that volume of non-base is a good thing here -- and that has potential if you land better names. (It's always possible in even a single pack.) Had a top name like C.J. Stroud landed in some of the rookie spots here? That'd be a win. The photos here have stronger, tighter crops than I remember from a lot of Donruss releases while this framing is new with some slightly retro touches that are a little heavy but not too obnoxious. The patch of silver foil on the cards I could live without but they do add some extra "feel" here beyond basic cardboard. If/when Donruss hits the clearance bin, I'll rip more.

Lot Grade: B- (insert/SP volume in just two packs here was a third of what a blaster had)
Fun Grade: C+ (not a lot going on here but some good variety with inserts for just two packs)
