What's Buzz-worthy: I picked up one of these on the cheap -- partly about curiosity -- as I generally like the Donruss brand but don't really do a lot of UFC. This one was heavy on base -- really heavy -- with a few inserts per pack and a smaller area of potential finds than hobby (of course) with this format really seeming a bit flat. Had these included some kind of even lesser hit, I think these boxes would be a little more popular and probably not as affordable but a wider more-Donrussy array of inserts and parallels may have helped, too. There are past names mixed into the base set with men's and women's stars and it's simple ... maybe too simple. The inserts here are a little stronger concepts though it looks like a lot of stuff here is paralleled where basic finds may not carry as much value as their rarer counterparts. Had this one included more in the box in terms of variety, I'd probably open more, despite not being a big UFC ripper. I need to look up some of the hobby breaks and depending on how they look I'd perhaps rip into more of this one ... after all, it's Donruss and I don't mind it.
