2022 Prizm Draft Picks Sensational Signatures Silver (1) – Jerome Ford

What's Buzz-worthy: I played the waiting game on this and a lot of other newer stuff in the retail wild as, well, hits aren't regularly flowing and the SRPs are up just like print runs -- but this box shows how they still can deliver. I have a lot of reasons to rip these (#RollTide) but have waited as I know NFL stuff will get more attention over time. So I can either dabble with singles here or watch for sale prices on boxes. But, interestingly, this box did include an auto -- from the cancelled Prizm Draft in 2022 -- and, while Ford is in the wrong uni for me he's a former Alabama guy ... so that made this interesting to me as a bargain rip. The variety here is always good -- I'd call this brand a favorite for me for any sport in recent years -- but the boxes do remain small. I got a few key names more than once and that's the fun part of this set that is comprised of several sets all in one. Revolution cards are only found in retail -- and they look good -- and Pink parallels are also only in blasters ... and mine was a good name and a good spot. I found a few guys with school ties, too, and some A-list NFL guys in here, too, though the main thrust is college guys ... perhaps more than last year's version. All in all, this one was comfortable with the ink ... without I'm sure I'd be a little less impressed. That said, I'll probably pick off more at some point, especially if blaster prices drop ... this one would be a fun volume rip if the price is right ... as a collector who likes the college game. If you like the mix, check out the other formats at the link up top -- ink is guaranteed more than once with a lot of variety in those boxes, too.
