What's Buzz-worthy: My second one of these had its moments but not as much star power as the first I ripped -- a definite downgrade -- at least until I got to my last pack and found a rarer parallel of a liked but also controversial WWE star of the past ... a card with an iconic and strong visual that works as part of that set for sure. Another fun find with a nice touch here was the Kross card that has an intentionally all black-and-white look as his entrance is shown on TV in black and white. ... This one didn't have any Rookie Cards -- that's going to happen this year with only 10 in the set vs. about 50 last year -- but that's OK as I bit here on a WWE Shop sale that dropped the price a little. ... As I said last time, I think the printing and centering issues here are far cleaner than the rookie-year issue and some of the photo choices are better, too. This one still has some distant images, while Select had great images and tighter crops last year  -- and they might be going too tight in 2023 -- but I think that mindset could have helped here still some more despite distantly cropped images perhaps being a Prizm thing. It's not a major deal but I'm not sure I'd be forcing half of the set into horizontal frames without A-list horizontal images to match them. (It seems more easily done in UFC with action photos shot from atop the Octagon vs. on the floor like most WWE is done.) All in all, blasters here feel better than last year -- three more inserts this time -- but I think things can still be hit and miss. Will I do more? Perhaps, unless I find some of last year's other WWE releases on the cheap to grab my attention away from here.
