What's Buzz-worthy: I have only opened four of these this year and, oddly, this one was near-identical for the base cards vs. last time ... and that's not a good thing this time, either. Greens and Ice are only found here but the names weren't wowsers value-wise. As I said before, I think the printing and centering issues here are far cleaner than the rookie-year issue and some of the photo choices are better, too. This one still has some distant images, though distantly cropped images are perhaps a Prizm thing more than, say, Select. It's not a major deal but I'm not sure I'd be forcing half of the set into horizontal frames without A-list horizontal images to match them. (It seems more easily done in UFC with action photos shot from atop the Octagon vs. on the floor like most WWE is done.) All in all, blasters here feel better than last year -- three more inserts this time -- but I think things can still be hit and miss and this one is more of a miss in terms of names found in certain spots. The Green Mankind card isn't a big highlight but it felt like the highlight card here. Average can happen and this one is pretty much that. There's still plenty of potential and guaranteed stuff in bigger-format boxes between numbered parallels and ink, though. Dabble there for sure while you can and then do these when they're all that's left.

Product Grade: A- (same grade as last year ... but also different in a lot of ways)
Box Grade: C+ (average with a few better names with Mankind perhaps best card)
