What's Buzz-worthy: I've stopped trying to chase down the brands the shelf-clearers like and as a result here I went for the simpler breaking option, a pack, instead of a blaster. (That's what I found.) I'll admit I was surprised in a good way with the variety and parallels and inserts here -- but that's Select for you with its tiered set approach that's a hit in a few sports. I landed the top rookie I'd want to find here, too, in Bryce Young for my school ties part of my collection and a few other newcomers across all spots so that was good. What wasn't? The consistently scratched inserts as you can see above and thankfully that didn't happen on the parallels but my perhaps best one, the Prescott, also had scratches but at a higher spot. Damaged cards are cards that ultimately have little use to me but at least the Young was clean. Will I do more? Perhaps, though I might try a different format just to see how the other packages deliver with their exclusives.

Pack Grade: B+ (landed a key rookie to me and some good names -- but surface scratches are all over the place na that's not helpful)
Fun Grade: B- (see above ... without conditions issues would have been an A-)
