What's Buzz-worthy: I waited for the hype crew to do their thing when this one arrived as, well, I wasn't sold on this one being as grand as some say -- it's got strengths, it's got weaknesses, but it's got a lot of collectible potential for a collector with a lot to find. This pack? It wasn't that good -- but that will happen with a smaller format. This pack had a lot of good on-field players from the past who are ultimately not worth much and really only a couple cards here stood out more than others ... but not by much. Value-wise? Not strong -- the Stroud Voltaic recently sold for $1.30 on eBay -- but over time it's inevitable that some of the stuff that's a little tougher to find in a particular format might dry up ... but I'm not really sweating that considering who I found on my parallels. ... What is this? This I one mostly chronicles past NFL players -- Hall of Famers and past favorites -- on a boatload of card types, while a handful of last year's rookies of note -- some maybe not as notable so far this season -- are along for a late-arriving, unlicensed ride that has some dazzling at all the Chrome and flash. ... This has some good touches on things for sure -- and some misses like the white borders on the 1963 re-do called Heritage this time around. Beyond one more of this one to rip here, I'll just grab what I like if it strikes me. This pack didn't wow me.
