What's Buzz-worthy: My second blaster of this one beat the odds -- that Chrome is one in 182 packs (one in 23 boxes ... or one per case with a shot at a second) -- and that, well, it made me wonder why Chromes still have to be limited to 999 and so tough to find? Why aren't other colors added on the regular here on an easy basis instead of being in chain-specific larger boxes? There needs to be more in Heritage boxes through the rest of the 1970s years if you ask me (save for maybe next year) to get things a little more interesting. Why? If things are too tough there's no point in opening or collecting them  ... and even with the odds a better name like this one still isn't expensive. (The photo is funky but I'll guess it might be some ode to Dave Concepcion's 1974 card ... though making them the same card number might have helped make it more obvious.) This box had its moments considering its size, though, with the Ohtani, Judge and Carroll appearances but this annual trip back in time is one that just feels like it needs more. This blaster type did include a stamp card -- Witt again -- but actually only had two SPs (correct per the odds) while my last box had three. ... Hit hobby boxes for a guaranteed hit in every box -- and there are  a few autos in every case -- and that's how I'll eventually go this year and they are affordable, too.
