What's Buzz-worthy: These have started popping up in slasher-sale spots so I bit on one while my first looks at the newest edition of Heritage are still out there in the world on a big, brown truck. This one? It was a reminder that I probaly needs to rip some more mega boxes or hobby as this particular set is jam-packed with stars and a number of subsets that add to the mix when it's simply base and make it a decent retro-style rip ... as long as it's cheap. This one isn't average ... but also isn't a monster. I like the look of the multi-player RCs in this one and this time it's an SP, while an Acuna appearance here is nice along with a bunch of rookies, though the better ones weren't in there this time. ... As I noted previously, I still feel there needs to be more in Heritage boxes through the rest of the 1970s years if you ask me (save for maybe this year, which will be colorful) to make things a little more interesting. ... Hit hobby boxes for a guaranteed hit in every box -- and there are a few autos in every case -- and that's how I'll eventually dabble more with this release. It's the best approach while those boxes last.
