What's Buzz-worthy: Did you see the post where a ripper of one of these landed not one, not two but 28 autographs from one of these mega boxes? That one is an extreme but others did note some ink flowing so I bit on two of these -- and this second box had, well, no ink and not a lot of oomph, either, beyond base cards. There's some star power among the inserts here but noting truly big and my rookie crop was substantially smaller and definitely not as good as last time ... pretty much an average box but I'll spare it a C thanks to the base stars, though for a premium price I should have just bit on a hobby box. ... I'm not a big fan of the 1974s but this one at least has more of a good feel to it with some thought vs. some other releases out in the retail wild where the boxes just feel way too lean. I'll open more of this one in smaller formats, too, almost by default as I'm playing the waiting game before even dabbling with some of the other newer releases.

Box Grade: B- (pretty dull this time ... maybe even closer to average considering the box price)
