What's Buzz-worthy: Buzz made a morning retail stop and a thick stack of these in the bargain bin was the only thing that caught my attention ... since there were so many. So, I grabbed a handful. Why? Well, I don't normally like to do pack breaks like this -- corner damage is an easy issue with this pack format, especially the longer they're around in the retail wild -- but I figured I'd do it since I don't think I opened any of these last year and there have been years where they ran warm. This one? Well, it showed that anything can be possible with that variation being one per 154 packs. That gets an easy A for this pack, though it could be topped with a better player. The rest of it was palatable but not spectacular with some star power among the veterans and rookies -- probably a bit of a Braves pack -- but nothing that big beyond the variation and those guys. (That's why I grabbed a handful of these.) ... Rip hobby boxes for a guaranteed hit in every box of this one -- and there are a few autos in every case -- and that's how I'll eventually dabble more at some point. It's the best approach while those boxes last and there are longer-odds potential at big stuff.
