What's Buzz-worthy: This one didn't wow me but that's OK -- it's meant to be a traditional lower-end but within-the-formula for a Topps non-sport set. But, that said, this one will be a one-and-done for me after looking at one detail on the odds chart here -- or at least push me to a hobby box if I want to explore more. Autographs, which drop regularly elsewhere, start at one in 103,217 packs ... that's one in 10,322 blasters. That was enough to make me stop looking at the odds sheet (link above). Atop that, this one was bad news with some oddly damaged cards here and there (see above right) that also was not a fun find. But there are some fun cameos to see here (Flea!) also among the cast members, too. The stock is super-skinny and no-frills more like it was in 2018 releases spots be careful opening packs with too much pressure ... you might damage cards just by pulling too hard. The rest here was pretty standard stuff for a set that is the home of a few newcomers' first autos and their first in-pack appearances. (You know, "Rookie Card" stuff for those who try to practice that for non-sports.) The insert volume was healthy -- half the box -- and if you're wanting to build a base set or set/inserts this might be an easy way to do it depending on how hobby box prices look. I think the Chrome blasters, which I have busted here already, that have a lot more cardboard than normal for a price lower than normal for Chrome are likely the better rip right now.

Box Grade: C+ (I liked patch image here as a "highlight" but box otherwise felt really dull -- plus auto odds are insanely long.)
