What's Buzz-worthy: The third AEW flagship release is one that amps up the variety and inserts -- more obviously seen in hobby boxes as this blaster actually had fewer than last year -- but at least in this box and perhaps this format a feature of the last couple years also is back ... damaged corners from packaging. As somebody who would grade simple base cards of names I like, this is a bummer ... and it's a reason (beyond scarce hits in hobby for premium prices) I haven't ripped more or tried hobby to see if those are capable of arriving cleanly. Had this issue not presented itself? Probably an A-level box. Will I dabble with singles? Probably. If I do more beyond my second blaster already in hand, then I'll offer more thoughts. This one didn't leave a good first impression despite having a lot I could have liked. This set's unique playing card representative also arrived with in-pack damage of a more-substantive type (see gallery) to add to the annoyance here. If you're sold here -- I might be -- hit that link up top to find a hobby box.

Product Grade: A- (a lot of younger AEW names and new additions vs. last time)
Box Grade: B (good mix of basics and inserts but with one issue ... see below)
Fun Grade: C+ (damaged card corners perhaps due to packaging stage really makes me not want to buy here)
